Local Beaches

beaches Beach TimeThe gulf beaches are amazing and some of the best in the country! There are no less than 20 beaches within an hour of Venice, but there are several right here in Venice. We have Sharky’s – our world famous Venice pier with great food, cocktails and bands. Siesta Key is the #1 beach in America and that is only 20 miles away. Venice beaches are famous for their fossilized shark teeth and you will always find people scooping and sifting sand by the shore looking for dinosaur teeth that are up to 60 million years old! Venice even has a dog beach for the many pet owners that love to let their well-trained pooches run free in the sand.

Here is a shortlist of the beaches within 30 minutes of Venice.  Enjoy!
