Tis’ The Season
Anyone that has lived here in the Venice area knows that Christmas is different here. First thing any new Floridian will notice is that people are putting up their lights in shorts – we can hardly imagine that if you’re coming from the North. I mean, I miss winter activities sometimes, but I also enjoy the abundance of sunny days, 75 degree weather and not shoveling snow.
Real Estate never stops in Florida – I guess it never stops anywhere but my agent friends up north would agree that the market slows down considerably from Nov-Feb. It’s still smoking-hot here – Venice homes are selling very quickly and rentals are very hard to come by.
